How did you hear about Paintball?

How did you hear about paintball? Friends? advertisement etc?

first time i played PB was 7/8 years ago with pump guns at a rental feild in middle o nowhere victoria. got invited to go play by a friend who was organizing a game was super fun and been hooked ever since and now i finally have the cash to play semi regularly.

word of mouth, went for my b-day which is coming up on MAY7TH

2003???? played my first games at pag. i was out in 10seconds for my first game and got bunkered twice while there. most fun i ever had. to bad i had to wait a year and get a job before i could play again!!

wow i guess its all about people tellin other people... we really need ads n stuff:P

You know my story Jeff. Being over at your house while we were in junior high and you had some magazines and then one day you had some ugly pump gun. Then last July as I was doing research for paintball art after you had talked about starting up DTP I decided to buy my own gun.

So Johnni does this mean i must take sole responsibility for total destruction of paintball player egos cause of you? LOL

it was the only thing to do in venezuela so i decided to go play. Ive been playing ever since

first time i went was spring 2004 with some group that our town had...you had to sign up for some rental package, it was some program to keep kids off the streets and not be lazy, there was way more stuff than paintball though.

hahaha i dont even remember. i think it was with a hockey team party about 5 years ago or something like that and then i really didnt get heavily into it until maybe last year

Come to think of it, I initially got interested in paintballing after thumbing through the yellowpages and seeing some ads in there. Thought it would make for a great time with a group of friends.

That was about 5 years ago... I played once, then only recently actually got into it.
I just got a pretty sweet high paying job.. so it's not such a huge burden to drop a few hunny a month on a fun hobby.

I can't remember how I got into paintball... I was in grade 6 and I invited all my friends to PAG outdoor for my birthday(I was 11) =D couple months after I bought my Spyder Xtra and took it to school the last day lol... Fun! My teammates I've known almost all my life. I told them about paintball and came up with a teamname joined an EVO tourney for our first.

First time i went was in grade 7. didnt really get into it. then i went again in grade 8 for a soccer wind up. then i didnt go again till near the end of grade 11 and actually got into it that time. now im obsessed..... it's not healthy.

I dreamt about playing paintball waaaay back in 1990 in a little sh*thole town in B.C. where there was never any hope of actually getting together more than 3-4 guys to play, so my first game wasn't until 1996. Bought a Brass Eagle Raptor at Canadian Tire (only access to gear in small town) and played with friends as often as possible. Now that I'm all growed up and have an Autococker Trilogy, I plan on getting into it as much as finances allow.

i used a coupon from a welcom to calgary book and played.

first time i ever really herd about paintball was me and my friend decided to go and get those cheap brass eagle guns from wal-mart thinking they were the best guns u could ever get. The funny thing is i didn't live in the city so the only time i could was goin out to the river and shoot targets. How pathetic eh lol.

I heard through a freind in grade 6. We went out by some haybales and shot each other up for awhile. Then I got invited by a friend to play at tag thats when I really got addicted (It was the castle and their town that got me!) I've being playing ever since.

Heard it form my brother and started playing last year and loved the sport.
