advice for turneys

im not new to ep but ive never been to a turney my fist will be jackpot
can i have some advice i will take anything about turneys

I guess one of the first things would be to learn the count down (its all I can think of right now) it "3, 2, 1, five seconds....." just don't pull your gun early.

bonus ball everyone to s**t that usually gets you more points

travis dont be teachign the kid the secret lol....nah just joking lol....but if you ever go to do a run through make sure with the fact this is a three man you have at least one other teamate alive

its a 3 man so stay crossed once its down to 2 people and watch each others back! talk alot cause u always wanna know where they are. theres alot of places for 2 people to hide on such a large field. umm wat else....no mercy?

dont be cocky, nor rude to any other team

Get there early. Always be prepared as you don't want a game to sneak up on you and have no paint or no air. And shoot till the player is out either by calling themselves out or if the refs do it. And make sure your gun is shooting under 300 FPS, I put mine at 275 FPS just in case

You're paying for entertainment, and if you're all stressed out/worried, why bother? And, if you're gun is working fine, LEAVE IT ALONE! :)

the best thing to do is do the math, find out if you need the flag hang and pull, how many guys NEED to stay alive.

is jackpot a turney with the flag thing

I love that video...its awesome!!!! Also make sure when you are walking off the field not to walk in to the other teams shooting lanes.....it hurts

If someone offers advice on game plans, consider it but if u go on a roll with a good plan, dont change it just beacause someone tells u its getting old or predictable.

hmmm...
#1: resepect those that deserve it, forget the rest. dont waste your time.
#2: make sure you have fresh batteries in your gear. even if you changed it a week before.
#3: communicate with your team. talk even if your the last guy, the other team may not know that you are. (unless you go ninja like lil' jeff)
#4: have fun
#5: dont be an a$$

make sure to pool paint with your team (everyone gos in on all the paint you shoot)

Make sure you go to the bathroom before you play, so you don't **** yourself on the field with all the balls blasting at you.

Seriously though keep talking to your team mates it helps to know where the other team players are, so you don't end up eating one in the face.

on the realz, keep practicing if you want to get better.

experience is soo key in this sport. look at how Impact plays, if you've never seen them play their amazing.

they dont think about their moves...they just react. when they play they just do whats natural to them. that took years of practice, an untold amount of practices/scrims/drills

go into a tourney with a very open mind. you might do well, you may not

basic in tournies:
-communicate with your team
-try to play as a team
-dont force situations
-head check , head check, head check
-keep your gun up
-play tight
-walk the field before the tourney. walk the field just before the tourney. and walk it again when the lunch break is called. sometimes you wont notice things at first.
-watch other teams play. watch to see what works and what doesnt work on the field.

i could go on, but have fun at your tourney.

PS- and YES you should do all your PGP's (Pre game Pee's/Poops) before any tourney! lol
