Membrane pads on a proto matrix???

Hey guys :) , for all you proto matrix owners... or dye owners.. you think you could put a mod to do membrane pads on a proto matrix.. cause under neath membrane pads on dm4's and 5's their are little button's just like the proto.. i wonder if i could install membrane pads on my proto??? you think you can??

The thing wiht that is though dont u have to replace the membrabe pad every so often. But dye mails them out but if you have a proto u would have to be buying your own replacement pads.
