Best Classic Game Ever

Anyone remember Contra for Nes and Snes?

its good yea but the best old classic game ever....ET for the atari 2600 it was made in one weekend and invovled HOURS of jumping through craters (that look EXACTLY THE SAME) finding pixelated blobs to rebuild your ship only to get them all and finish the ship and see the words THE END WOW it was agreat conclusion no pixelated ship or anything jsut a big THE END o yea this is THE BEST GAME EVER MADE.... contra yea contras good too but i liked METAL SLUG more

actually now that you mention that, metal slug was a good game as well. Havent played that in a long time.

smash tv was a GREAT game but i couldnt beat it... great now you got me thinking of pullling out the snes to play it again...

N.A.R.C. or that one Monster truck racing game...the one you could buy a ton of nitro boost thingys for your ride!

Some kick *** arcade games from my years in Jr.High were StreetFigher II, Mortal Kombat II, or Run-N-Gun(basketball game). I cant think of anything else at this time.

Super Street Fighter II Ultra, Streets of Rage 2, and the Sega Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog games, Golden Axe and most of the Ninja Turtle games (2 and 3 for NES, Hyperstone Heist and Turtles in Time), Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers on NES.

Joald, the monster truck racing game was fun but I'd only play it in multiplayer. Anyone remember Aliens vs Predator for arcade? Man I wanted that game so badly back in the day. Same with the X-Men arcade game that had 6 players and used two screens.

i have the avp for snes the arcade version (damn it was fun) is still at one of the arcades in west ed... golden axe was GREAT

if you guys really want a classic game remember mario duck hunt for NES. It had the orange and grey nintendo pistol controller. That was the start of shooting games lol.

i like ninja turtles...infact...i still have Ninja turtles: Turtles in time for snes. along with contra.

pac-man was cool...

does any one remember super contra 2..or even super contra..for the NES ..that game freakin rules...docter red ..proffesor blue..im sorry i would never jump into battle wearing only red or blue pants and matching head bands...CONTRA RULES!!! :frocket:

I couldnt even beat the first level of Contra. Those dogs kept owning me.
