I've decided to leave my Series 5 alone, for now.. And I've also decided to convert my maverick.
I'm going to buy a quick changer today at lunch, and I'm really only hung up on how to get the feedneck sorted out.
I can do any cutting/drilling that may need to be done, but I'm still a little stumped.
Any one have a suggestion or idea?
I'm considering buying some pvc pipe and just gettin one of those caps and have it come out the side.
It wont be stock class, but it will be close :evil6:
Why don't you hack off the current feed tube and pop on a Phantom stock feed?

I've already gone an bought some pvc pipe, and a copper 90 degree elbow.
It's somewhat of a proto type so far.. but it seems to work nicely.
All it lacks is the cap on the end, to hold the balls in.
I think it can hold 12 balls...
I went to all sports replay to buy a quickchanger, they only had a brass eagle 12 gram adapter... takes about 10 full turns to get it off... not "quick" at all.
What would you guys reccomend? The same one that comes on a phantom?
yes, the CCI quick changer is what you'll need.
The phantom stock class feed thing is screwed right to the receiver.
The feed hole is right up on top of the receiver, unfortunately my maverick's feed hole would be off set to the right side... If I were to shop the feedneck off, and mount the stock class tube, it would be half cocked to one side, and significantly interfere with my pump handle as well.
I'm going to need a couple phantom parts tho.. If someone here has em lying around, I will turn them into money, magically, because I'm just that kinda guy. :evil6:
I need the Feed Cap, and the Ball Retainer doo-hickey that goes in it.
Ordering from CCI these parts are $3.85US and $0.50US respectively.
I had tried to make something similar out of a hockey puck...rofl what a complete failure that was.
I will attempt to make soemthing again today, but I'm out of ideas and materials that I can use.
i have the ball retainers for the end cap so no worries there.I could possibly hook you up with Tiff for her 15 ball feed stick assembly, she has a raw WWA feed so i dont know wich she'd part with, i'll mention it to her.

I managed to "fabricate" (read: salvage) a feed cap. But I'm seriously lacking in the ball retainer department.. I have tried all kinds of things, none of which were any good.
outty i got a copper gehtto feed tube you can have just get a ghost ring or a cap to keep the balls in..
